Christian Resources International has launched the ‘Operation Bare Your Bookshelf’ campaign. The ministry says that the need for Bibles is great. About 250 requests a month from pastors and volunteers in developing countries request resources.
The resources include Bibles, concordances, basic reference and study materials, and other Christian books. Christian Resources International says that while most Americans own several Bibles, the average third-world village does not own a single Bible.
