Lazy 5 Ranch petition

Some state and local governmental officials are pushing to ‘remove’ the land on which the Lazy 5 Ranch resides from agricultural status. If this change were to pass, the NC Department of Revenue would force the Lazy 5 Ranch to collect a 3% tax on the admission cost, plus pay for previous years when tax was not collected. This change would ultimately lead to the closing of the Lazy 5 Ranch.
